We are co-hosting this beautiful event with ! A space for pregnant mamas + mamas + women to slow down, breathe, connect, and reset.
Think meaningful conversation, community, and intentional time to pour back into you!

🤍 Birth Workers Open House
An evening designed for doulas, midwives, pelvic PTs, lactation consultants, and holistic providers to connect, collaborate, and build stronger referral relationships here in Colorado Springs. When providers are aligned, families get better care!

We truly believe something powerful happens when the right people get in the same room.

Magnesium, probiotics, fish oil, dietary shifts — they can absolutely play a role.

But here’s the physiology most people don’t talk about:

When the nervous system is stuck in fight-or-flight, the brain reallocates resources toward survival.

That means:

• Increased stress hormones
• Decreased digestive efficiency
• Shallow sleep cycles
• Reduced adaptability

In that state, the body isn’t prioritizing absorption and integration.

It’s prioritizing protection.

Which is why supplements can sometimes feel inconsistent or short-lived.

When regulation improves, digestion improves.
When digestion improves, integration improves.
When integration improves, outcomes become more consistent.

Even when everything looks “normal,” their body is adjusting to a completely new world.

If your baby feels unsettled, tense, or hard to soothe — you didn’t do anything wrong.

Sometimes the nervous system just needs support while it adapts.

When the nervous system shifts into protection mode, everything feels harder.

Sleep becomes inconsistent.
Emotions feel bigger.
Sensory input feels overwhelming.
Digestion slows down.

Protection mode isn’t a diagnosis.

It’s a stress response.

And it’s incredibly common in kids today.

The nervous system’s job is to keep the body safe.
When it perceives too much stress, it adapts by staying on high alert.
