Is it really possible to fully recover from s*x addiction or p**n addiction and stay clean for life? Dr. Doug Weiss, licensed psychologist and leading expert in s*x addiction recovery, explains the proven recovery plan that has helped thousands of men and women break free for good. After more than 40 years of personal sobriety and clinical experience, Dr. Weiss shares why lasting freedom is possible and how you can begin your own journey today.

S*x addiction doesn’t disappear through willpower, shame, or empty promises to yourself or to others. Many people trapped in p**nography, ma********on, affairs, or other compulsive s*xual behaviors keep relapsing because they don’t have a clear structure for recovery. Dr. Weiss breaks down specific principles of s*x addiction recovery, including accountability and group support, daily disciplines, and recovery materials to help you achieve lifelong freedom.

If you feel trapped in p**nography, ma********on, affairs, or compulsive s*xual behaviors, know that there is a proven path forward. You are not too broken, too old, or too far gone to change. Recovery is possible and you can start today.

If you need help on your recovery journey, contact Heart to Heart Counseling Center at 719-278-3708 or email heart2heart@xc.org to connect with a certified therapist who can help you get started. For accelerated recovery, book a 3-Day or 5-Day Intensive to get a lot of specialized help in a short amount of time.

What is s*xual addiction and how do you know when it's a real problem? In this conversation, Dr. Doug Weiss sits down with Dr. Daniel & Tanya Amen and defines s*xual addiction not as a moral failure, but as a behavioral pattern used to medicate pain, avoid intimacy, and escape stress. If you've tried to stop, made promises, and still return to p**n, hookups, or compulsive behavior, this conversation may finally give language to what you're struggling with.

Discover how early exposure to p**nography in adolescence can shape the brain, chemically bond it to s*xual images, and disrupt healthy development. Modern culture, through the use of dating apps, endless p**n access, and future s*x robots, is conditioning people to disconnect from real intimacy and become neurologically addicted to fantasy.

If dating feels empty, connection feels out of reach, or you’re constantly cycling through regret, you’re not alone. This clip reveals how we arrived at this point and, more importantly, how someone can find healing.

For counseling and support, contact Heart to Heart Counseling Center at 719-278-3708 or email heart2heart@xc.org to connect with a certified therapist who can help you start your healing journey. For accelerated recovery, book a 3-Day or 5-Day Intensive to get a lot of specialized help in a short amount of time.

For more than 40 years, Dr. Doug Weiss has counseled thousands of men and women whose lives and marriages have been impacted by secret addictions. In this discussion, he breaks down the hidden costs of secretly managing an addiction and why it affects far more than just the addict.

Whether it be s*x addiction, p**nography, infidelity, or other types of addiction, the effects cause more harm than good. Discover how addictions degrade your quality of life, keep you stuck in immaturity, create a cycle of guilt and shame, and keep you from living up to your true potential due to the fear of being found out. They also slowly destroy relationships, with the partner of the addict experiencing betrayal trauma, confusion, and deep emotional pain.

But there is real hope. As a former addict who recovered and rebuilt his life, Dr. Weiss knows that freedom is possible. With the right tools, support, and accountability, you can break the patterns of secrecy, rebuild trust, and begin healing from both addiction and betrayal. Take the next step toward healing today!

For counseling and support, contact Heart to Heart Counseling Center at 719-278-3708 or email heart2heart@xc.org to connect with a certified therapist who can help you start your healing journey.
