Strength training with proper periodization (aka load management) & emphasis on quality technique is the true “fountain of youth.” The one factor that MOST limits quality of life & functionality as we age isn’t cardiovascular endurance or flexibility - but strength. This isn’t to say all forms of exercise & fitness aren’t important - but there’s a reason why TONS of research on methods to enhance functionality & decrease pain for those with osteoarthritis (OA) consists of progressive resistance training!

As a 1-1 personalized online training client of mine, you’ll have direct access to me as your coach for anything you need to be successful. Custom training programming, nutritional plans, lifestyle guidance, coaching, accountability, support. Everything you need to succeed.

These 5 exercises are the GOAT for developing functional strength, hypertrophy AND preventing injuries…

After 16-years coaching clients from all walks of life, you start to see strong similarities in programming structure and exercise variation that simply work for a vast majority of people.

And of course, you see archaic exercises and wack workouts that almost NEVER for for anyone, but do produce impressive rates of pain, injuries and burnout.

❌Force feeding barbell everything all the time
❌Loads of unrecoverable garbage volume
❌Zero rotation, lateralization, athletic moves
❌Piss poor warm ups, half assed cool downs
❌No smart strategic prehab/prevention work
❌Neglecting cardio, conditioning, heart health
❌Being a dumb dogmatic ego driven meathead

The real TRUTH of the gym is that you won’t always have good days of training. The longer you’re in the “iron game” the more you’ll come to realize AMAZING training sessions where you feel great and weights feel light don’t come frequently. BUT, when you play the long game, don’t try to rush the process & stay consistent - you WILL find great results!
