Here is the skinny on my view on TARG3T, S3ph0ra and C0stcO when it comes to the choice of supporting a friend or them…
Here is the blunt hard truth…
You don’t “support MLMs”…
but you’ll drop $200 at Target without blinking.
Make it make sense. 🙏
You’ll grab supplements from GNC (no background testing, label reading, or validation)
Skincare from Sephora (greenwashed, hodge-podge)
A random TikTok shop haul at 11:47 pm because it “looked cute” 🙃
And a hoodie from Victoria’s Secret like it’s a personality trait
But someone shares something she actually uses and loves and suddenly it’s…
“i DoN’t sUpPoRt pYrAmId ScHeMeS” 🥴
Let me help. Be serious. For a second.
You are supporting a business either way.
The only difference is WHO gets your money.
Corporate CEO with a yacht…
or your friend trying to:
• pay for sports
• cover groceries
• maybe not stress over bills this month
• and build something of her own
And let’s be real for a second…
you trust influencers you’ve never met more than the girl who texts you back in 2 seconds about what actually works 😂
From personal experience-influencers “use products they’re paid to use”
And I’ve done research for decades on the products I put my name with. And any entrepreneur in the industry does the same. Not the clerk at Ulta-they are paid hourly, don’t build a relationship with you to make sure it works. And they sure as $hit don’t offer a satisfaction guarantee and will not follow up with your purchase to ensure you’re happy.
Wild.
Also quick reality check:
MLMs are not pyramid schemes. Pyramid schemes are illegal.
If it was illegal… it wouldn’t still exist.
You don’t have to love it.
You don’t have to join it.
But don’t pretend you’re “above it” while funding billion dollar brands daily.
Support who you want…
just be honest about it 😉
