We are honored to share that Stellar Care and Services has received the Excellence in Employment First Recognition Award from the Colorado Association of People Supporting Employment First (Colorado APSE)!🎉

This recognition celebrates our Supported Employment team, currently led by the amazing Allie Powell. The team’s dedication over the past four years has built a strong, respected program that continues to create meaningful employment opportunities for the individuals we serve.

As highlighted by Colorado APSE, this award reflects a shared commitment to advancing inclusive, competitive employment and ensuring that all people have the opportunity to pursue their goals and thrive in the workforce.

We are incredibly proud of our team’s passion, stability, and person-centered approach, which empowers individuals to gain independence, build confidence, and advocate for themselves every day.

Cheers! A huge thank you to our Specialized Habilitation individuals and staff for bringing Irish cuisine and culture to our lives throughout this week. It’s been an incredible experience!🍀

The Awesome Blossom Café continues to be a wonderful space for building confidence and developing valuable skills - from customer service to cooking and handling money.

We’re so excited to see where next month’s journey will take us!🌍

Our March Employee of the Month is the wonderful Mike!

Chef Mike is a dedicated mentor who consistently leads with kindness. Whether he’s guiding a cooking crew in Spec Hab, tossing a football with a client in Day Program, providing direct support, or calmly redirecting an escalated individual, Mike shows up with patience, compassion, and leadership. He is truly a great asset to Stellar Care.

💙Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month is observed each March to celebrate people with developmental disabilities, promote inclusion, and recognize the barriers that still limit full participation in community life.

First established by a 1987 presidential proclamation, the month calls on all of us to increase awareness of the needs and the potential of people with developmental disabilities.

Daylight Savings Reminder⏰

On March 8, 2026, at 2:00 a.m. local standard time, clocks in Colorado will spring forward one hour to 3:00 a.m., marking the start of daylight saving time. This change means that sunrise and sunset will occur about one hour later, providing more daylight in the evening but less in the morning.
