Whether he’s guiding a cooking crew in Spec Hab, tossing a football with a client in Day Program, providing direct support, or calmly redirecting an escalated individual, Mike shows up with patience, compassion, and leadership. He is truly a great asset to Stellar Care.

💙Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month is observed each March to celebrate people with developmental disabilities, promote inclusion, and recognize the barriers that still limit full participation in community life.

First established by a 1987 presidential proclamation, the month calls on all of us to increase awareness of the needs and the potential of people with developmental disabilities.

Daylight Savings Reminder⏰

On March 8, 2026, at 2:00 a.m. local standard time, clocks in Colorado will spring forward one hour to 3:00 a.m., marking the start of daylight saving time. This change means that sunrise and sunset will occur about one hour later, providing more daylight in the evening but less in the morning.

Congratulations to Heather and Holly, our two Employees of the Year at our Colorado Springs office! 🎉

Heather has served in a variety of roles with Stellar Care over the past three and a half years and currently shines as our Human Resources Coordinator. She keeps us calm, organized, and always ready to serve our clients with excellence and compassion. Her steady leadership and dedication make a difference every single day.

Holly is an outstanding Direct Support Professional and our Supported Employment Coordinator. She has an incredible ability to connect with all kinds of personalities and thoughtfully match each individual with job opportunities that truly fit their strengths and goals. Her passion for empowering others is inspiring to us all.
