Hot Asana was conceived by NC Yogi, Virginia Gallagher as a sanctuary for the spirit and a forge for the body. A place to “DO” and to “UN-DO”. Our new location at 1020 E Jefferson St Suite 110 opened March 5, 2021. We offer are a full service yoga studio and boutique with classes 7 days a week with TWO practice rooms equipped with a purified air system and no touch facilities. The boutique features the finest athletic apparel and supplies AND we have cozy sitting areas with wireless internet. Hot Asana is here to give you a dynamic, cutting edge yoga experience that challenges you on every level. At this studio, you will find yourself fully present in your body, leaving stress behind, twisting and binding, balancing, flying and playing all over your mat. Join us in moving through 108 sun salutations! It may sound extreme, and it will definitely challenge you mentally and possibly physically, but you are capable. It’s an incredibly meditative and rewarding experience to move through the same asana sequence 108 (a sacred yogic number) times. Instructor will offer options/modifications and guide you the whole way through. This is a great ritual to welcome in the new season!

A deep and challenging alternative to the myriad of Vinyasa yoga classes, this grounded practice consists of longer holds in seated or supine poses. In this two-hour practice, you'll release all muscle groups surrounding the hip joint, which in turn leads to more mobility, less compression, and healthier pelvic and spinal alignment. This class is suited for students of all levels.

Indulge yourself in a little self-care in this 90-minute Yin/Yoga Nidra practice intended to nourish your mind, body, and spirit. Beginning with a yin practice, postures are seated or supine and are held for longer periods of time to helps to access the deep connective tissue and fascia which can lead to increased flexibility in the joints. The class will then conclude with Yoga Nidra. Often referred to as "Yogic Sleep," Yoga Nidra is a meditative practice that is deeply relaxing for your entire being. All led by soft candlelight.
