Root causes of autoimmune conditions: 👇🏽👩🏻‍⚕️🙏🏼

1. Gut issues: the gut controls a large majority of the immune system. When there is something off in the gut, it can contribute to an autoimmune issue 

2.  Hormones: one of the most common ages to get diagnosed with an autoimmune condition is during perimenopause. This is because your hormones change and estrogen in particular can be disordered, thereby contributing to disorder of the immune system. This is something we can balance naturally and holistically, without the need for prescription drugs, like HRT, or BHRT 

3. Emotions: putting everyone above you, feeling scattered, fearing you’ll be attacked from all sides at any moment, these are energetic and emotional patterns we’ve seen, especially in women, that have also been found to contribute to the develop of an autoimmune condition, from an energetic and emotional perspective.

Organic cranberry sauce recipe 👇🏽(super flexible and easy with the amounts, I’m more of a Chef than a baker) 

 Open a 12 ounce bag of cranberries.

Cut up 4 organic apples. 

Put an inch of water in the bottom of the pan 

Sprinkle in about a quarter of teaspoon of cinnamon

Add a pinch of salt, (an eighth of a teaspoon at most), I’m using Himalayan salt from a farmers market in France that I got that has hibiscus flowers blended into it

Add honey to taste, optional. I added a fourth of a cup. The apples will help sweeten it, and I’ve made it without honey. I have people coming that might appreciate some type of sweetener in it tomorrow. I personally prefer it with just apples, cranberries, a little water and cinnamon with a pinch of salt

Cook on medium until it starts to simmer then turn it down to low 

Cook until the apples are soft, which is about 30 minutes if you’re in a rush, then you can blend it. I don’t skin the apples. I let it simmer on low for about an hour, stirring it every 5 to 10 minutes to make sure it doesn’t burn.

I blend it, leaving some chunks in it because it taste better that way in my opinion

This may seem “expensive” and like you “don’t have the time“. What I’ve found is it comes down to priorities. Where do you spend the most time and money?

Do you wait until you’re forced to pay co-pays, unexpected doctors visits, and see specialists multiple times a week or do you make the time and set aside money for your health so you don’t have to pay more later for your sickness?

I used to do what was cheaper and faster now..like pop NSAIDS and believed massages were “frivolous”. I thought chiros were quacks and Acu was crazy - why would anyone want to be a human pin cushion?
