Barb Keiser has lived here for 12 years she lives in a one bedroom apartment with her cat, LuLu. Barb stated, "My family thought it would be better for me to live in the assisted living while my husband was next door. I could just walk over through the corridor to the nursing side and visit him instead of me driving. I love living here as I can still do things on my own, or if I need help there is always someone here to help you."

At Oak Pointe our activity team works hard every day to bring joy and a sense of adventure to our residents. From Lunch Bunch, touring the Cook Bison Ranch, or going to see the Fantasy of Lights, our residents are able to have fun outside of our community.

We are incredibly grateful for our local family physicians and providers who care so deeply for our residents and our community.

Recently, we had the joy of delivering beautiful poinsettias as a small token of appreciation to the physician offices serving Columbia City and Churubusco. It was our way of saying thank you for the compassion, dedication, and partnership they show every day.

Today was extra sweet around here!

Our Donut & Hot Cocoa Day had everyone feeling warm and cozy! We served not only hot cocoa, but cappuccinos with almost every topping you could imagine. Staff and residents grabbed their favorite treats and enjoyed a little comfort and cheer together

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Oak Pointe!

Our amazing Activity Director, Stacey, has truly outdone herself. She’s transformed the facility into a winter wonderland, spreading cheer and joy to everyone who walks through our doors. Each floor and hallway is now home to a beautiful Christmas tree, bringing holiday magic to all who pass by! 🎄☃✨🎅
