Dermal Filler | Progression Photos 💉

Post-treatment swelling is a normal and expected response following dermal filler injections and may persist for up to 2–3 weeks.

As swelling resolves, integration of the filler into your native tissue occurs and results will soften and appear more natural.

You may love the results and want to address other areas which we are happy to discuss, but it is very important to allow complete resolution of swelling prior to evaluating outcomes or considering additional product.

Injecting filler in the presence of residual swelling increases the risk of overcorrection, asymmetry, and suboptimal outcomes due to the altered anatomy.

We understand hearing ‘no’ can be frustrating, but it is for your safety and beautiful outcomes 💖

Client Education | Lip Filler Edition ✨

Did you know that injecting too much filler into the lips at one time can lead to:

• migration
• anterior projection
• delayed healing due to tissue compression
• accumulation of filler deep to muscle and outside the lip body that will require dissolution

Sometimes the final goal will require a full syringe (1mL) of filler. How and when that 1mL is placed *matters*.

I won’t promise you a specific look based on someone else’s anatomy, but I can promise you I will listen to your goals and do my best to help you reach your goals!
