Leah holds a bachelor's degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina. She further advanced her academic and professional journey at UofSC, earning an Education Specialist (EdS) degree. Leah worked with the School Behavioral Health Team in the Psychology department as a research specialist and program manager, where she was responsible for designing and implementing a successful internship program for undergraduate students in local school districts. This program has been instrumental in providing students with foundational skills to support school mental health professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and counselors while offering insight into potential career paths. Additionally, Leah is a licensed LPC Associate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is pursuing certification as a yoga therapist. During her downtime, Leah emphasizes the importance of self-care by meditating, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with her loved ones and her Pitt bull.
