Even fun travel loads the body with:
• Sitting for long periods
• Changes in routine
• Extra sensory input
• Disrupted sleep
• Car seat or airplane tension
Here’s a simple post-travel reset to help your body recalibrate:
1️⃣ Gentle spinal mobility
Cat/cow, hip circles, baby’s extension–flexion movements. Motion tells the brain “you’re safe again.”
2️⃣ Belly-to-belly breathing
Place your child on your chest and take slow breaths together. This co-regulates both of your systems.
3️⃣ Warm bath or shower
Heat relaxes the fascia + resets the vagus nerve beautifully.
4️⃣ Hydration + minerals
Travel drains electrolytes, which impacts energy and mood.
5️⃣ Chiropractic adjustment
The fastest way to restore adaptability and calm after days of tension, sitting, and stress.
If you’re traveling after the holidays, save this post to try and let us know what you think!
