The wood was donated by their coaches at Missouri Pacific Lumber Company, which makes this one a little more meaningful.

All aboard!
This train is heading to the Farmers Market tomorrow from 9:00–12:00.
Our handmade wooden trains are built from assorted Missouri hardwoods, finished with magnetic couplers, smooth-rolling wooden wheels, and a coat of walnut oil to bring out the depth of the wood while keeping them safe to handle and enjoy.

It’s a toy that’s just as fun to play with as it is to display, and honestly—they’re just plain cute.

🌱🔨 3-Day Kids Woodworking + Gardening Camp Recap 🔨🌱
We just wrapped up an awesome 3-day kids camp at Sawdust Studios and these young makers absolutely crushed it.
They designed and built their own cedar planter beds from raw lumber — milling, measuring, cutting, gluing, and nailing everything together themselves. We wrapped it up with hands-on gardening instruction so they could head home with their finished planters and seeds ready to grow.
This is what we love most… watching kids build confidence, learn real skills, and create something meaningful with their own hands. 🌱

Spring break is next week. Got plans for your kids yet?

We've got a few spots left for our Kids Maker Camp. March 23-25 (Monday-Wednesday). Ages 6-16.

Half day (9am-12pm) - $300
Build a 3'x1.5' raised garden bed. Plant it with Cruz on the final day.

Full day (9am-3pm) - $500
Garden bed in the morning. Pinewood derby car in the afternoon. Race on the final day.

Real tools. Expert supervision. Something they made with their own hands to take home.

Look at those faces. That's what happens when kids discover they can build stuff.
