Small enough to fit in your palm. Meaningful enough to carry with you.
These hand-sized wooden pieces — what we like to call worry stones — are shaped to rest comfortably in your hand and finished to a smoothness similar to a river stone. Some feature gentle thumb indentations, inviting you to rub the surface and slow your thoughts for a moment.
Slip one into your pocket, tuck one into your purse, or keep one on your desk. They’re simple, grounding tools — a quiet reminder of the trees they came from and the steady strength found in nature.
Handcrafted by Amy at Sawdust Studios, each one is slightly different in grain, weight, and feel.
Available now at The Store at Sawdust Studios.

From raw lumber to rolling perfection.
This French rolling pin begins as walnut and white oak, cut to size, carefully glued and clamped into a solid block. Once it’s turned on the lathe, the hidden pattern inside is revealed — a beautiful contrast of grain and tone that only appears after the shaping is complete.
Smooth in the hands and balanced for control, this rolling pin is built for serious baking while still serving as a piece of craftsmanship you’ll be proud to leave on the counter.
Made by Zach at Sawdust Studios, this rolling pin is ready to roll.
Available at Sawdust Studios.

This white ash charcuterie board — shaped like a whale — is not the elusive white whale Captain Ahab searched for… but it is a rare find you don’t have to chase across the ocean.
Measuring 23⅜ inches long and 7/8 inch thick, the light grain of the white ash gives it movement and brightness, while the playful whale silhouette adds a whimsical touch. It’s perfect for serving cheeses and appetizers, or simply letting it rest on your counter as functional art.
Made by Cruz at Sawdust Studios, this one-of-a-kind piece is ready to come home with you — no harpoon required.

This black walnut cutting board may measure roughly 11×14 inches at its widest points, but it is anything but average.
Look closely at the grain and you’ll see movement, depth, and character that feels almost cosmic — like a swirling galaxy — or perhaps a layered forest scene. The natural grain in the walnut tells its own story, making this piece as much art as it is function.
Made by Brooke, this board is truly one of a kind — shaped by the tree, revealed through craftsmanship, and finished for everyday use.
Available at The Store at Sawdust Studios.

Every pen tells its own story.
These ballpoint ink pens are hand-turned on the lathe using assorted Missouri hardwoods, shaped and finished by the staff at Sawdust Studios. Each one reveals different grain patterns, tones, and character depending on the wood selected and the way it’s turned.
No two pens are alike. Each is truly one of a kind — crafted to feel balanced in your hand and built for everyday writing.
Functional art you can carry with you.

This epoxy pour-over piece is all about contrast and depth. Parallel hackberry wood channels frame and contain the rich deep red and maroon epoxy, creating a bold visual flow that feels both structured and organic.
What makes this piece truly striking is how dramatically it changes with light. Held up to the window, the epoxy reveals soft layers and depth you don’t see at first glance. Sitting on your counter, it takes on a dramatic presence — two completely different personalities in one handcrafted work.
Made by Zach at Sawdust Studios, this is a one-of-a-kind statement piece that blends hardwood craftsmanship with artistic resin work.

Small tools. Big usefulness.
These mini spreaders are handcrafted from Missouri hardwoods and designed to be as practical as they are beautiful. Perfect for spreading soft cheeses, butter, or jams, they also shine in an unexpected role — scooping lotion or salve from a jar to keep the contents clean and free from bacteria from your fingers.
Made from an ever-changing mix of hardwoods like hickory, walnut, cherry, sycamore, and more, each piece has its own grain, color, and character. No two are exactly alike.
Handmade by Amy at Sawdust Studios, these spreaders are multifunctional, natural, and made to be used every day.
