During Long Term Care Administrator Week, we are so incredibly proud to share these beautiful words from Meghan Frierdich, LNHA, about why she loves being an administrator here at Nexus Columbia. 🤍
"For me, this work has always been personal. When my grandmother lived in a nursing home, I saw firsthand how much compassion, patience, and dignity matter in those moments of life. Seeing the care she received inspired me and planted the seed that one day I wanted to be part of this field, to help make sure every resident is cared for the way I would want my own family to be cared for.

Today, I feel incredibly grateful to do this work. I truly love our residents, their families, and the amazing staff I have the privilege of working alongside every day. Together, we strive to create more than just a facility. We create a safe, compassionate, homelike environment where our residents feel respected, valued, and loved.
Being an administrator comes with challenges, but the relationships, the trust families place in us, and the moments we share with our residents make it all worthwhile. My goal will always be to lead with compassion and ensure our residents feel at home."
