There’s something about that in-between season 🌤️

☀️The days are getting longer.
🗓️The calendar starts filling up.
🌱You can feel spring coming

And yet… sometimes your body hasn’t quite caught up.

Maybe you’ve been inside more than you wanted.
Moving less than you hoped.
Feeling a little stiff, hesitant, or behind.

That’s why I’m hosting a small 4-week virtual program called Step Into Spring.

What if we treated burnout like an injury?

If you injured your shoulder, you might:
• ignore it
• power through it
• pretend it isn’t there

And you’d understand there will be consequences.

But burnout?

You may not realize what the long-term consequences are
when you keep overriding it.

Burnout can look like:
💔 snapping at people you love
🎨 losing your creativity
😶 feeling numb in things that used to matter
🤕 chronic tension, headaches, gut issues
🥀 resenting the very work you once cared about

You wouldn’t expect one stretch
to fix an injury.

So why do we think
🛌 one day off
💆‍♀️ one massage
🌿 one weekend away
will solve burnout?

🤍 Rest helps.
But recovery requires more.

Recovery takes:
🔁 consistency
⚖️ adjustment
👀 noticing
🪞 support to reveal your blind spots

Burnout is no different.

And I haven’t managed mine perfectly.

Some days I overcommit.
Some days I slip back into intensity 🔥

But I’ve learned how to recognize it.

So today, I chose to pause.
✍️ to write
🌱 to reset

Burnout recovery isn’t a one-time fix.
It’s a daily rhythm that shifts with your season of life 🍂

And if I want to be well at 95,
I have to practice now.

These times are different - but the same.
We’ve never been in this exact spot - but humanity has been.

No one knows how this will turn out - but there will be pain. There will be suffering in the short term.

There will be change. There will be healing that will come much later.

So I beg you.

Please, be the kindest version of you to you.
Please protect your peace - for when peace is present clarity of what you CAN do will come through.

🕊️And knowing that being a peaceful human in your community is MORE than enough.

Spread peace by being peace.
Show others how peace is practiced.

There is Hope. There is Love.

Five years ago, I thought healing was a box to check off.
A destination.

Welp — I was misinformed 🙃

What I’ve learned is that healing wasn’t an ending.
It was an opportunity.

An opportunity to grow.
To do things differently.
To stop living the way I always had.

Healing made me curious.
It made me wiser.
It helped me understand what actually matters to me —
in my body and in my life.

It gave me permission to say yes:
😴 to rest
🏐 to play
✨ to living in alignment with what truly matters

For me, that’s meant letting go of perfectionism and people-pleasing —
and choosing longevity, joy, and trust in my body instead.

Choosing adventure and appreciation,
even when it looks different than it used to.

Healing from burnout didn’t take anything from me.
It showed me how I want to live.

This isn’t about lowering standards.
It’s about slowing down long enough to ask:

What do I want to say yes to?
What do I actually have capacity for?

For me, the hardest part was letting go of the habits that quietly kept me off the court for years.

And choosing instead what allows me to stay —
to play, to enjoy, to keep coming back.

And if you’re wondering — yes, you’re allowed to return to play too 🙂
🫶🏻 Even if it looks different than it used to.

Your joy matters.
