Today, November 20, ends the third quarter of “Daybreak’s 3rd Annual Diaper Bowl: Dollars for Diapers”! The Tigers still have $331 and appear to be taking a “cat nap” as they did not add any dollars to last week’s score. But the Gamecocks kicked up their spurs, keeping up their momentum from last week, and added $100 to their score, gaining the lead with $343.

Will the Gamecocks continue their winning strategy or will the Tigers “wake up” and get back in the game? Only you, the fans, will decide who comes out on top when the game ends at midnight November 30.

To join in this fun and friendly competition, there are two ways you can do so:

And with the help of their fans, the Gamecocks have more than doubled their score from last week’s $102 to this week’s $243.

Will the Tigers maintain their lead next week or will the Gamecocks keep up their momentum and continue scoring, outpacing the Tigers? Either way, it’s up to you!

Daybreak’s 3rd Annual Diaper Bowl: Dollars for Diapers!!!

Supporting mothers who choose life for their babies involves a lot of resources, including a lot of diapers! And you can help us re-stock our diaper supply by way of a friendly competition between Gamecock and Tiger fans. It’s called “Daybreak’s 3rd Annual Diaper Bowl: Dollars for Diapers”, which officially “kicks off” tomorrow, November 1 and runs through midnight on November 30. The Gamecocks have won the first two Daybreak Diaper Bowls, giving us the means to purchase EveryLife diapers for our clients. Why EveryLife diapers? Here’s why:

EveryLife is an unapologetically Christian company that does not support organizations that destroy innocent life. Every other major diaper manufacturer, including Huggies and Pampers, includes coverage for abortions in their employee benefits plans, in addition to direct support for Planned Parenthood. EveryLife does not, and that is a company we love to support!

What a wonderful time everyone had at Daybreak's 9th Annual 5K Run/Walk on October 4, 2025! Boys and girls, men and women, ages 3 to 74, competed in this year's 5K, timed by Jud Brooker of Timing, Inc. He created a webpage of the race results you can find here: https://www.webscorer.com/race?raceid=408662. Congrats to our OVERALL MALE AND FEMALE WINNERS: Ben Mora with a time of 19:01.8 and Melody Venegas timed at 24:28.3.

Along with the race, everyone enjoyed, once again this year, a delicious pancake breakfast compliments of First Presbyterian's Chef Richard Wolford. Thank you, Chef! And thanks to Shandon Baptist Church for allowing us to use their portable PA system to announce the 5K winners and top fundraisers. And many, many thanks to our volunteers, client advocates, male mentors, office assistants, board of directors and staff for supporting this event with their hands-on assistance and fervent prayers before, during and after the race.
