This , we’re celebrating our friends at Colonial Life! From delivering Meals on Wheels routes and coming together for a packing blitz, to hosting all four of our Wellness Centers for lunch, games, and prizes, Colonial Life goes above and beyond for seniors in Richland County. And this holiday season, they’re filling 180 Shoeboxes for Seniors to spread even more cheer. We’re so grateful for this partnership and for their unwavering commitment to our mission.

Today and every day, we pause to honor all who have served. We are grateful that through our Meals on Wheels, Congregate Meal Programs, and Wellness Centers, we’ve had the privilege to serve 313 veterans right here in Richland County, giving a little back to those who sacrificed so much.

Thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your continued strength.

As we enter the holiday season, many of us are meticulously planning Thanksgiving dinners, hanging decorations, dreaming of sugar plums and creating holiday magic for our families.
But for many seniors in Richland County, the holidays can be a reminder of loneliness and the challenges of living alone.

Through our Shoeboxes for Seniors initiative, we are changing that. Each box is filled with more than gifts, it’s filled with hope, joy, and the reminder that our seniors are loved and supported.

Thanks to the overwhelming support of our community, every single box has been picked up and soon, more than 1,000 shoeboxes of hope will be delivered to seniors across Richland County
