Hello!

I am Dr. Zaheer, a board-certified family physician with additional certification in lifestyle medicine and menopause care. We are now in our fourth year at Oak Tree Primary Care- a patient-focused Direct Primary Care practice.

As medicine advances and we learn new things, we also realize that some things used to be better in the past. The future of primary care, therefore, looks a bit like the past: a solid doctor-patient relationship, un-rushed and relaxed visits, and access to your doctor in a way that primary care is supposed to be, yet is hard to find in the current complex and flawed healthcare system. I cannot control insurance premiums and a host of other issues that plague us, but I can control how I run my practice.

I feel very fortunate to have found a practice model that allows me to show up for my patients in a way that ensures more personable and, dare I say, ethical care. While I am grateful for this practice model, I am so much more grateful to my patients, for trusting in me and making this practice what it is. Thank you!
