The heart of school-based ABA is strong teams, compassionate support, and people who truly care.

🧡Meet our Columbia SC., SCHOOL TEAM! 🩵

Led by Annemarie Telleri (right), our Lead School BCBA, and Kelsey (left), our new School BCBA, this incredible group is dedicated to supporting students across our school settings.

The amazing ladies in between are our Behavior Technician team, who show up every day to provide compassionate, consistent support to the students and classrooms we partner with.

A special shoutout to the two in the top middle row — Dixie and Jessalynn — our Certified RBT Trainers, who help ensure our team continues to grow in skill, confidence, and clinical excellence.

We’re also proud to have two Student Analysts on this team, Sierrah and Hallie, who are currently working toward earning their BCBA credentials and continuing to grow within the field!

We are so incredibly proud of this team and the difference they are making in schools every single day. Our school-based services continue to grow and expand, and we’re excited to see what Fall 2026 brings!🚀

📚🎩 Dr. Seuss Week Fun at MKS– Columbia Clinic!

This week our Columbia clinic celebrated Dr. Seuss Week, and it was full of fun, creativity, and lots of smiles! Our Kidz and families joined in on the daily themes — from cozy pajamas for Sleep Book to silly mismatched outfits for Wacky Wednesday and lots of green for Green Eggs and Ham. 💚

A huge thank you to all of our families and Kidz who participated and helped make the week so special!

And a special shoutout to Michelle, RBT, for rocking the best outfits all week long! 👏 A special prize is coming your way!

Wow! What an incredible and productive week of learning, growth, and collaboration for our additional CERTIFIED RBT TRAINERS! 🙌

This week was filled with hands-on training in compassionate support and leadership, while demonstrating all RBT core competencies and developing the skills needed to effectively teach those competencies to others.

Our team also learned how to complete RBT competency assessments, fidelity assessments, and create individualized training plans designed to strengthen and support our teams in the field.

Beyond the learning, we made time for team-building and “getting to know you” moments, which made the experience even more meaningful and reminded us that strong teams are built through connection!!

This new group of CERTIFIED RBT TRAINERS - Kayla, Emy and Dixie (SC) and Roxana (NC) worked incredibly hard, and we could not be more proud. Every single person demonstrated dedication, growth, and a true commitment to clinical excellence. They all did amazing! 👏💙

Since July, he’s been behind the scenes building storage rooms, installing cabinets, maximizing organization, and now bringing some exciting new sensory projects to life in our Columbia clinic! A BIG THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US! YOU ROCK! 🤘

MKS Winter Inservice was our best one yet. ❄️🚀💗

We kicked off the morning with Beth Chaney, CCO, and Moriah, Student Analyst, leading Managing Ineffective Behaviors — our first official Professional Development Unit (PDU) offering for RBTs at MKS! The team engaged in interactive role-play and breakout sessions focused on strengthening trauma-responsive ABA practices across the company. New team pictures happened with a few new professional headshots prior to lunch! (Photos coming soon!)

Before our afternoon sessions, we enjoyed a special treat from Sunset Slush — the perfect mid-day boost!

Our afternoon sessions were led by several of our incredible RBT trainers and student analysts:

✨ Lennon – Cultural Humility
✨ Becca & Q – Creating a Positive Work Culture & Conflict Management
✨ Chanaya & Sierrah – Understanding Ableism

Meanwhile, our Analyst team (BCBAs and Students) participated in a session led by Beth, breaking down Assent and Assent Withdrawal, followed by collaborative case discussions.

Our North Carolina team joined us for this special day of growth — and next week we officially begin services in our newly expanded Mooresville clinic! 🚀

This Week at Columbia MKS Clinic

Our Early Learners and School Readiness students strengthened fine motor skills through hands-on fun — peeling sticker sheets and excavating hidden animals in kinetic sand. These activities build focus, coordination, and those important “tiny muscle” skills needed for writing and independence.

In our reading center, we honored Black History Month as each learner selected books highlighting inspiring Black leaders and changemakers, sparking meaningful conversations and supporting literacy growth. Ms. Leasa in art taught the kidz about a black historian artist recreating similiar art!

We soaked up some sunshine early in the week before the rain rolled in — and wrapped up Thursday with our giant inflatable obstacle course in the afterschool room!
