🌿Here’s a fav easy breakfast idea to get the day going with protein, vitamins, minerals and healthy fats 🤩

🌿 Plain whole fat Greek yogurt is an excellent source of protein, calcium and probiotics
🌿CocoJune coconut strawberry rhubarb yogurt is dairy free and a good source of probiotics
🌿dollop of whole fat cottage cheese is high in protein and rich in calcium and others vitamins and minerals
🌿handful of organic strawberries and blueberries are high in Vitamin C and antioxidants
🌿tablespoon of organic h**p seeds are a complete protein and a good source of iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, and essential fatty acids such as omega-3
🌿sprinkle of Autumn’s Gold grain-free granola contains healthy fats, is gluten free and nutrient dense!

Studies have shown that full fat dairy intake may have a neutral or protective effect on heart disease risk, in contrast with saturated fats in processed and fried foods, which are linked to heart disease and other conditions.

Although coconut is a saturated fat, it contains medium chain triglycerides, which are metabolized differently and may offer some benefits!

Okay y’all, these protein pancakes are 🔥 🔥 🔥 Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and protein helps to regulate blood sugar levels, support muscle mass and provide energy throughout the day.

Who doesn’t love a yummy pancake for breakfast with some good grass-fed bacon? We’ve been making these for a few months now, and they are chock full of good ingredients, high in protein, easy to make and SO satisfying 🥞 Recipe below 👇🏼 Enjoy!!

🌿 1 cup organic oats (I use sprouted organic oats from Costco)
🌿 1 cup organic cottage cheese
🌿 3 large organic eggs
🌿 1 scoop of collagen powder
🌿 1 tablespoon of seeds - chia, flax or pumpkin
🌿 1/2 tsp baking soda
🌿 1/2 tsp baking powder
🌿 1 tablespoon fresh-squeezed lemon juice
🌿 1/2 tsp vanilla

Toss ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. Add a small amount of nut milk of choice to thin batter to desired consistency if needed. Cook in grass-fed butter and enjoy!! 😋

Yields 8 pancakes

🌵 I’ve been quiet for a bit, but there’s been a lot of change in the past couple of months.

As much as I loved our little town of Columbia and the great state of Tennessee, my husband and I felt called to be closer to family, so we have picked up and moved across country to the great state of Arizona!

I will miss my home but look forward to putting down roots here in AZ, spending more time with parents and family and, of course, still helping clients with holistic health! 🌱

Here’s to a new season of learning, adjusting and growing! 🌵

Yep, I’m one of those weirdos that believes this. Food is information for our genes to pick up and direct the way our body functions on a cellular level.

Whole foods such as fruits and veggies, nuts and seeds and fish contain many beneficial vitamins, minerals, plant compounds, fiber, protein, phytonutrients, healthy fats and amino acids, elements that give life to the body.

Simply put, every food choice we make is either feeding our bodies or killing it 🌿
