🏈When former University of South Carolina and NFL quarterback Connor Shaw went into sudden cardiac arrest while coaching his son’s football game, he beat the odds.

❤️Only 10% of people survive out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, but thanks to CPR-trained bystanders and a nearby AED, Connor received immediate, life-saving care.

⚕️Now, Connor is working to help fight the statistics for SCA through his new initiative, the Heart Huddle, which will advocate for the importance of CPR training and increased access to AEDs.

❤️ After surviving sudden cardiac arrest while coaching his son’s football team, former University of South Carolina and NFL quarterback Connor Shaw has made it his mission to raise awareness of SCA.

⚕️Launching at the Carolina-Clemson tailgate on November 29, Connor’s initiative, the HeartHuddle, will advocate for the importance of CPR training and increasing access to AEDs – two things that saved his life.
