It's Team Member Tuesday! Today we have Crystal, our February Rock Star. Crystal is currently a technician at our Ashland location, but she's also worked at our Providence location in the past. She is such a hard worker and comes in to work with a smile every day. We really appreciate how well she takes care of our patients. If you see her around Ashland, be sure to congratulate her!

New garden beds at Nora Stewart Early Learning Center are looking good and ready for spring🌱💕

Did you know CCUA works with Nora Stewart Early Learning Center through our partnership with Kilgore's Medical Pharmacy? Through this partnership CCUA manages Kilgore's Community Garden on Providence and provides garden education for young learners through our Youth Education program.

All of the produce grown at Kilgore's Community Garden is donated to Nora Stewart to eat in their lunches. Adding garden beds on site will help increase their garden education in addition to what they receive at our farm and in their classroom!

P.S Garden tip! Struggling with establishing a garden due to bermuda grass infesting your lawn? Cattle troughs (modified with drainage holes and raised on cinder blocks) are a great way to establish a garden with out having to battle the bermuda grass!
