VO₂ reflects how efficiently your body uses oxygen during exercise. The higher it is, the better your endurance and work capacity.

To improve VO₂, focus on short bouts of higher-intensity training, push close to breathless followed by recovery, progress gradually, and balance intervals with steady aerobic work.
