The Triple Hop Test is one of the ways we determine if an athlete is truly ready to return to sport.

It’s simple in concept: three powerful hops on one leg. But what we’re really watching goes far beyond distance.

We’re analyzing control, stability, and how the body absorbs and produces force with each landing.

This test helps us measure:

• Landing control and stability
• How well the knee, hip, and ankle work together to manage load
