Day 2 of our 12 Days of StretchMas Countdown (1 more day until Christmas!!) 🎄
One stretch a day you can do from home.

Hip Flexor Stretch (With or Without Equipment)

A supported hip flexor stretch to release tension at the front of the hips — an area that commonly tightens with prolonged sitting and long days.

✨ Helpful for desk workers and long hours of sitting
✨ Supports hip extension and low-back comfort
✨ Two options depending on what you have at home

Option 1:
Use a foam roller for added support as you settle into the stretch.

Option 2:
No equipment? Lie on your back near the edge of a bed or bench and allow your legs to drop off using gravity. Consider placing a rolled towel or pillow underneath for extra support.

Move slowly. Stay supported. Breathe and switch sides.

Standing Hip Stretch Series (Hips + Legs)

A four-part standing stretch series designed to open the hips and release tension throughout the lower body.

Lower Back Stretch: Seated Quadratus Lumborum Stretch (Side Body + Low Back Relief)

A gentle seated stretch to release the quadratus lumborum — the deep muscle along the side of the lower back that often tightens with prolonged sitting, standing, or uneven movement.

✨ Great for side-body tightness and low-back tension
✨ Especially helpful for desk workers and long hours of sitting
✨ Supportive after long days, travel, or workouts

Sit tall, hinge slightly toward the extended leg, and reach with both hands.
Move slowly. Breathe into the side body. Switch sides.
