Pinecrest Memorial Gardens

Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Helping One Family At A Time At Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, you can expect to receive an individualized experience with the end-of-life service of your choice.

With a slogan like “Helping One Family at a Time,” the team is ready to listen and pay close attention to your needs. The beautiful gardens make the cemetery unique as it provides space for a cremation garden and burial in private mausoleums. The beautiful Pinecrest Memorial Gardens property offers several options for cremation. You may choose a cremation bench, to scatter the ashes in the cremation garden, or select the tree memorial option. A tree memorial is when you use the deceased ashes to plant a tree that you can visit and watch it grow larger over the years. Another option with cremation is to keep the urn in a columbarium or niche in a private or community mausoleum. If you would like to invest in a mausoleum for your family member, you can have the confidence that the structure is strong and unique. With many styles to choose from in a variety of price levels, you can select a mausoleum that is suited for your loved one. Private family estates are also available if you plan to bury several family members in the cemetery. Pinecrest Memorial Gardens is located near Columbia, Mt. Pleasant, Thompson Station, Spring Hill, and Franklin, and takes great pride in serving these communities. There are no limits to what is offered to make your graveside service memorable. If you would like a dove release, that service is available upon request. When it comes to grave markers, the cemetery offers flat bronze markers or upright granite. The monuments available are also granite. Your loved one will be laid to rest in style when you choose Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. If you are looking for a pleasant and peaceful place to lay your loved one to rest, Pinecrest Memorial Gardens is the place for you. The beautifully kept grounds are breathtaking. From the first visit, you will know that this is the place to plan your cremation or casket burial. Pet services are also available. Join us this Memorial Day at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens as we honor the brave men and women who have served our country. The service will include food and refreshments, a time of remembrance, and words of reflection from our guest speaker, Pastor Kenny L. Anderson.

About Our Speaker:

Pastor Kenny L. Anderson, a 1979 graduate of Columbia Central High School, is a veteran, minister, and community leader who has dedicated his life to both military and spiritual service. He served in the U.S. Army for 25 years, retiring in 2005 after completing a 15-month deployment in Kuwait during Operation IRAQI Freedom, where he led Gospel Services at Camp Spearhead.

A gifted musician and longtime minister of music across Tennessee, Pastor Anderson answered his call to the Gospel ministry in 1991 and has faithfully led Mt. Calvary M.B. Church for over 30 years. His leadership extends beyond the pulpit through his work with numerous organizations, including the Tennessee Baptist Missionary & Education Convention and the Columbia Peace and Justice Initiative.

He and his wife Annette have two sons, four grandchildren, and a deep commitment to faith, family, and service. In 2011, he was named Tennessee Man of the Year by RossReportNews.

We are honored to welcome Pastor Anderson as he shares his reflections and pays tribute to those who served.

Conrad J. Donarski
Born and raised in N.W. Minnesota. At age 18 ran away from the cold and snow to join the Marine Corps and enjoy the sun of Sothern California. At least that's what the recruiter said.

Thirty years later, C. J. retired from the active ranks of the Marine Corps as a Master Gunnery Sergeant and returned to civilian life as a pre-need sales rep for Eternal Hills Cemetery and Mortuary in Oceanside, CA.

God had other plans, because seven months later C. J. was working aboard Camp Pendleton as the Exceptional Family Member Coordinator. At the same time, he was going to school to be ordained as a deacon in the Catholic church; and five years later, he was ordained and served aboard Camp Pendleton Marine Base as well as St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish in Oceanside.

As it says in the Book of Ecclesiastes, "There is a time and a season for everything under the sun". Lady Alice, C. J's wife retired from her government service job and said that she did not want to fly six different directions to visit their six children and 11 grandchildren. In May of 2017 the arrived in Spring Hill, TN.

During his time aboard Camp Pendleton, C. J. also earned his certification as a Board-Certified Chaplain for the Veteran's Administration. He is one of the chaplains at the York Campus Murfreesboro, TN. When he is not on the ward and in his office, his door is open, and the K-cup machine is waiting its next command to brew a cup for a visitor.

Although he and Lady Alice live in Spring Hill, by God's design, C. J. is one of three deacons at St. Henry Catholic Parish on the West End - Nashville.

Our Story

Pinecrest Memorial Gardens was founded in 1952. It was formally known as Meadowlawn. Pinecrest offers families the ability for either ground burial or burial in private mausoleums. It also offers the ability and use of flat bronze markers or upright granite. Ownership changed several years ago and since then has made a vast amount of improvements and hopes to continue to do so over the next 10 years.
