To you this may look like a nice couple standing next to a tree. To us at Reflections, this picture depicts what we are about. Family.
Tari Henne and her husband Steve visited us today to 'celebrate' Tari's mom's birthday. Ellen has been gone about 2.5 years, and this tree was planted in our backyard in memory of her by her family. Today they brought Dilly Bars for us to enjoy and to take a moment to remember the part that Ellen played in our Reflections family and to see how big the tree had gotten.
When Steve and Tari showed up today there were lots of hugs and smiles- and even a couple of tears. It was old home week! Catching up with each other.
This is what Reflections is about. Family. Not just your family- but how you become our family too. This isn't a place to simply drop off your loved one for daily life help- this is the place to bring your loved one to be loved, to be advocated for, have amazing care------- and become family. The type that doesn't stop at the end of their diagnosis. It is the type of family that we provide years down the road. We love the lifelong relationships we have cultivated over the years.
