Prisma Health Children’s Hospitals in Upstate and Midlands invite their community members to spread cheer to hospitalized children this holiday season with Prisma’s Good Night Lights events in Columbia and Greenville this Sunday, Dec. 7.

Midlands: 7 Richland Medical Park Drive, Columbia, SC. The child life team and volunteers will be on-site beginning at 4:30 p.m. to allow time for participants to decorate their cars and begin lining up for the 6 p.m. Those planning to take part in the parade are asked to RSVP in advance by emailing Jordan Parker at Jordan.Parker@prismahealth.org.

Upstate: 701 Grove Rd, Greenville, SC. Participants can arrive as early as 6:15 p.m. at the south parking deck in front of Children’s Hospital to begin setting up their decorations and joining the countdown to light up the night sky. That parking area will be closed just before 7 p.m., with the light show beginning promptly at 7 p.m.

Rebekah Rowe, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician at Laurens Family Medicine. A South Carolina native, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology from Wofford College and attended Edward via College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned her medical degree. She completed residency training at Prisma Health’s Seneca Family Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Rowe is passionate about caring for families through every stage of life with special interests in women’s health and pediatrics. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and crafting.

Prisma Health is excited to announce that we are the first in South Carolina to offer iotaSOFT, the first and only robotic-assisted insertion system in the United States for cochlear implantation.

Brent Wilkerson, MD, a double-board-certified neurotology and otolaryngology specialist, and the Cochlear Implant Team implanted the first cochlear implant using robotic-assisted technology at Prisma Health. Light up the night at Prisma Health Children's Hospital in the Midlands and Upstate! Join us for Good Night Lights on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the Midlands and 7:00 p.m. in the Upstate.
