Thank you to everyone who attended our August Spinning Babies Workshops!! 60 plus people from SC and NC participated during those 2 days including nurses, pelvic floor therapists, doulas, and CNMs. We also gained 14 new members!

Congratulations to Elizabeth Dowling and Myers who won the drawings for free conference registration to our 2026 NC/SC Perinatal Conference in Myrtle Beach next November!!!

Last week SCPA President Jennifer Desai and Board Member Elizabeth Patel represented our Association at the AWHONN day on Capitol Hill. They spoke to SC legislative staff in support of Bills for prevention of workplace violence for healthcare and social workers, continuation of maternal mortality reviews, Title IX funding for nursing education and support of Medicaid for women and children.
