🎉 Happy New Year from SCSCIA! 🎉

As we step into a new year, it’s a time for fresh beginnings, new opportunities, and exciting possibilities. May 2026 bring hope, joy, and positive changes for you and your loved ones!

From all of us at SCSCIA, here’s to a bright and inspiring New Year! ✨💙

12/31/2025

2025 was a year of impact, advocacy, and momentum.
From expanding access to resources, to amplifying the voices of those living with spinal cord injuries, we moved forward together — one conversation, one connection, and one breakthrough at a time.

This year reminded us that progress happens when community shows up.
And we’re just getting started. 💙♿️

♿ Peer Mentorship Program — Learn From Those Who’ve Been There ♿

Living with a spinal cord injury and managing care comes with a learning curve — and no one understands it better than someone who’s already navigated their spinal cord injury journey.

Our Peer Mentorship Program connects individuals with spinal cord injuries and wheelchair users to share real-life knowledge, tips, and support. From accessibility hacks and navigating systems like HASCI waivers, Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security, and Employment, to vehicle and home modifications and day-to-day problem-solving, this program is about learning the “tricks of the trade” from people who truly get it.

✨ Now seeking both mentors and mentees!
Whether you’re looking for guidance or ready to share what you’ve learned, your experience matters.

🚨 STOP SCROLLING — WE NEED YOU!
Our new Virtual Yoga class is sitting all alone in a Zoom room every Thursday at 5:30 PM 👀
And we mean alone. Not one participant yet.

We believe in accessible wellness.
We believe our community deserves programs like this.
But we can’t offer them without your participation.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to join… this is it.
✨ Show up for yourself. Show up for your community.

And if you can’t join? Please share this post.
Your share might be the reason someone else discovers a resource they need. 💛
