It was a flawless victory for Phil yesterday at the USAPL Empowerid National Championships!!! Phil placed first going an incredible 9 for 9! He hit meet PRs on all 3 of his lifts and on broke American Records on both his bench and deadlift... both on second attempts... and broke his own records on third attempts for both! He is now qualified to compete at the Arnold Sports Festival in March 2026! Words can not describe how excited and proud I am for him! Let's go Phil!!!

I'm very excited to travel to Momocon with 3 of my students who will be competing at the USAPL Tournament of Power! To my knowledge, this will be the first time a powerlifting competition will take place at an anime convention. This combination is insanely cool, and I hope that they will do more in the future! Today, I had the pleasure of coaching my student Sean and my training partner, Phil. Sean placed first in the Masters 2 category. Phil placed 1st as a special Olympian, and 2nd in the open division! This is our last competition for the year, and what a great way to finish up!
