Did you know the peel of a banana holds powerful minerals your body loves?
Most people throw it away… but inside that peel are small amounts of:
✨ Magnesium – helps relax muscles and calm the nervous system
✨ Potassium – supports heart health and muscle function
✨ Calcium – supports bone strength
✨ Tryptophan – helps the body produce serotonin and melatonin
All of these work together to help your body unwind naturally before bed.
Instead of tossing the peel, you can turn it into a gentle nighttime tea.
🌙 How to Make Banana Peel Tea:
Wash the banana thoroughly (organic is best).
Cut off both ends.
Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
Add the peel.
Let it simmer/steep for 10–15 minutes.
Strain and drink 30–45 minutes before bedtime.
This can help:

It’s not really about how hard the pressure is.
Deep tissue massage simply refers to working with deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to release chronic tension, adhesions, and long-held stress patterns. That doesn’t mean pain. And it definitely doesn’t mean forcing the body.
✨ Effective massage is about intention, technique, and listening to the body — not how much pressure you can tolerate.

Somatic mind–body healing is a gentle, supportive approach that helps you reconnect with your body and understand what it’s been holding onto—sometimes without you even realizing it. Many of us carry stress, emotions, and past experiences in our bodies long after our minds have tried to move on. Over time, that can show up as tension, anxiety, overwhelm, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
As a certified somatic healing practitioner, I guide you through simple, intentional practices that help calm the nervous system and bring the body back into a state of safety and balance. This work may include breath awareness, gentle guided techniques, and body-based mindfulness designed to help your system slow down and release what it no longer needs to carry.
Rather than forcing anything or revisiting painful memories, somatic healing allows your body to lead the process. We move at your pace, creating a safe space where your body can naturally unwind, regulate, and restore itself. Many people leave sessions feeling more grounded, emotionally balanced, deeply relaxed, and more connected to themselves.
Somatic healing can be especially helpful if you feel stuck, constantly stressed, emotionally overwhelmed, or like your body is always in “survival mode.” It’s about learning how to listen to your body, support it with compassion, and allow healing to happen from the inside out.
