Only good thing about a storm like the one predicted for this weekend is that it pushes you to finally get long overdue projects done.. our biggest problem with the goats loafing shed has always been the doorway. Nothing to stop weather from just pouring in. Spent the last 2 days adding a wall and roof 6 feet out to hopefully cut some of the wind and weather. There's also a gate that we tarped and will close at the last check of the night to block even more if the weather is particularly bad.. everybody be careful and stay safe

Internet is back and Sandy is busy shipping out orders. She was able to package some this morning because she printed the invoices last night and just needs to print those shipping labels. more to package and ship. Very grateful it wasn't a longer outage. Great job by duo broadband getting us back up and running quickly.

To all our Silly Goats Soap customers, as you can see we had a little wind with our rain last night and a couple big oak trees fell down in the holler and across our fiber optics cable so, we have no internet until further notice. They are hoping to have us back up by the end of the day. We will see 🙏. That being said, we cannot run any new orders util we get internet again. We can't pull up orders, or getting shipping costs and labels until then. Sorry for the inconvenience and you'll get your tracking number as soon as we are back up. Thank you for understanding. We appreciate ya! 🙂💙

New addition is moving along well. Yesterday We got pearlings, v***r barrier and steel on the roof. Today Cliff got the electric ran for the lights and we got perlings and steel on the sides. Just have to do the 2 doors on the front and do the flashing where it connects to the house and we will be done. Tons of room in there! Can't wait to clean out stuff in the garage, shop and clean up barn yard. Pretty excited about this!

Well here we go again. Another building project! We are adding a big addition on the side of the house. An enclosed equipment/storage/work shop. We got the header up, post holes dug, posts in and cemented on day 1. Day 2 we put up the main beams up, as well as the rafters! 2 good days. It's gonna rain for most of the day today but, we might be able to get out this afternoon and start putting up the pearlings. Stay tuned as we progress.

I will be making the Market Peach Goat Milk Soap this week and getting it on the shelves to cure. Remember it takes 4-6 weeks to cure and as soon as it is ready I will make the matching lotion to go with it.
