Remembering a Dedicated Volunteer - In 1999, Neil Richter in Kansas began his journey with our mission. He spent his life as a farmer, and heard of us through his church, Fancy Creek United Methodist Church. He began welding parts for us. Twice a year, he would arrive at the shop with a pick-up load of welded parts and a check. He also made and contributed other items that we sent out to our Distribution and Delivery Partners. For over 20 years, he was a faithful supporter. He passed at age 90 in October. Thank you, Friend.

Alfred was a 46-year-old father who was working as a mason when he was tragically injured during a fall at work. As a result, he became reliant on his brothers to carry him from place to place. When Alfred received a Mobility Cart, crutches and a Mini-Mart kit (also assembled in our shop), he said with a great big smile, “This cart has restored my mobility!” He now runs a business selling juices and has returned to church as well. His brother, Katana, said, “My prayers for my brother have been answered! He no longer needs to be carried!” – report from Partners for Care in Kenya.

Our longtime donors understand the need and want to match donations received this fall. Two families are offering a dollar-for-dollar match up to $44,000. Would you partner with us again and double your gift to help others, like Alfred, in need of mobility? www.GiftofMobility.org.

This boy in Kenya wore out and outgrew his Small Cart made in MI. Partners for Care moved him up to one of our Large Carts.

We have received reports of Mobility Carts that are 10 and 12 years old with some replacement parts through our Distribution & Delivery Partners. We ship carts and supplies to maintain older carts.

In this case, we were glad our partner could upgrade him to a larger mobility device. Thank you for keeping this boy with two amputations rolling along.

Reflecting on the impact a mobility device can make on someone's life. It's truly humbling to see people who previously had no mobility aids go home happy and with the gift of mobility.

We are so grateful for our current building and to Coil Construction!

In honor of our 50th anniversary and dedication to giving back to the community, we’re highlighting non-profits that we’ve had the privilege to partner with.

In 2020, we built a 12,500 sq ft building for Mobility Worldwide MO Columbia: Maker of the Mobility Cart since 1994 to manufacture their Personal Energy Transportation (PET) carts. This building provides more space for the organization with improved loading docks, larger assembly areas and a greatly increased storage capacity.

We're proud to support this community organization!

“I am Naiperiae, the seventh born and seven years old. I was born disabled. I had been crawling or being carried by my mother throughout my life and had never been able to attend school. I was given a Mobility Cart, which I use to attend school, and it changed my life! We had a grand ceremony with all my family, village elders and villagers present! Thank you!” - Naiperiae

“We are amongst the forgotten because of the distance from Nairobi County, but today, one of us has been
remembered.” Elder Ole Ntima “God has used PFC to make my child mobile and happy. May Enkai (God in Maasai) bless you.” - Naiperiae’s Mum

We recently received this great update from Partners for Care: At a truly inspiring event in Tharaka Nithi, which took place at two locations, 787 people living with disabilities received mobility devices.

The occasion was beautifully graced by the First Lady of Tharaka Nithi, Honourable Margaret Muthomi. The county has warmly named this empowering program "Jiinue," which means "uplift" in Swahili. Community health volunteers were also present and played a vital role in mobilizing the people with disabilities for the event. As the First Lady expressed, “This program is a beacon of hope and empowerment for our community. Thank you for walking this journey with us.”
