Acker Physical Therapy & Neuro Rehab is a locally owned and operated outpatient rehabilitation clinic specializing in neurological recovery and functional independence. Our interdisciplinary team of Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists provides individualized care in a supportive, collaborative environment.

We pride ourselves on treating every patient like family — empowering them to regain strength, confidence, and quality of life after stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s, and other neurological conditions.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) with a passion for neurorehabilitation to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, motivated, and experienced in helping adult patients achieve functional gains through skilled, personalized intervention.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and treat adult patients with neurological, orthopedic, and functional deficits
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, and medical teams to develop comprehensive care plans
• Provide education, home programs, and adaptive equipment training
• Document sessions accurately in EMR (experience with StrataPT a plus)
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, patient-centered culture

Qualifications:
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of South Carolina
• At least 1 year of experience in neurological rehabilitation (outpatient or inpatient setting) preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care

Schedule & Compensation:
• Flexible part-time hours (2–3 days/week, daytime schedule or a few hours each day).
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
• Supportive, family-oriented environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration
