MEET OUR STAFF...
Cannie McLemore has been an educator for 13 years and is deeply committed to serving others through both her professional and personal life. She has been married to her husband, Johnathan McLemore, for 20 years. He serves as the Associate Pastor of Improve Baptist Church, where they are faithful members. Together, they have three children.

In addition to her work in education, Cannie has a heart for ministry and service. She values opportunities to travel internationally, particularly to underserved and impoverished communities, where she shares her faith and serves those in need. Her compassion, dedication, and strong sense of service are reflected in every area of her life.

Cannie has been employed with Colonial Funeral Home for over 7 years and is honored to serve families with care, and dignity.

Jimmy Turnage - Funeral Director

Jimmy joined the Colonial Funeral Home team in January 1990. He lives in Foxworth with his wife, Marilyn. They have three children and 12 grandchildren.
Jimmy attended West Marion and is active member of Foxworth First Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and attending ballgames.

MEET OUR STAFF
Bill Metcalf - Funeral Director

Bill joined the Colonial Funeral Home team in March 2018, bringing 29 years of experience working in a fast paced, high volume funeral home on the Gulf Coast. He lived in Biloxi since 1980 and began his career in funeral service in 1989 with the O’Keefe family at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Homes. April will mark 37 years of work in the funeral service industry.
Bill studied music and business at Troy State University and landed in Biloxi via the Air Force where he met his wife, Liz. They have relocated to Lamar County in 2018 to be close to their daughter and only grandson. He is an active member of Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg where he plays trumpet in the orchestra
