Setting boundaries during the holidays doesn’t make you difficult - it makes you healthy.
Here are a few additional simple scripts you can use this season:
For Family:
“I love you, but I’m not comfortable discussing that topic today.”
For Work:
“I’m unavailable outside my scheduled hours, but I’ll follow up when I return.”
For Events:
“Thank you for the invite! I won’t be able to make it, but I appreciate you thinking of me.”
