Last Friday, Terry officially passed the torch to Rebekah on her last day as Executive Director of Birthright of Columbia. Terry was such a blessing to our organization these last five years, and she is sure to enjoy her well earned retirement knowing that Birthright is in good hands! In 1983, Birthright of Columbia presented the very first Dr. Herbert Black Memorial Award to honor a legacy of compassionate care for pregnant women.

At our recent Board meeting, we were honored to present this award to two longtime friends of Birthright.

Dan Leonardi began as a volunteer and later served more than 12 years on our Board of Directors, including time as Secretary. Dan Potts, along with the After the Sermon Sunday School Class at Columbia First Nazarene Church, has faithfully sponsored our Anniversary BBQ plate sale year after year.

We are so grateful for both of these “Dans” and the Sunday School class. Thank you for your heart for the unborn. 💛
