For Sonny Goel, MD, GBMC is more than a hospital — it's where he became the physician he is today. Now, he's giving back.

Dr. Goel, founder of Goel Vision and a Baltimore Top Doc for over eight years, has made a generous gift to support the relocation and renovation of GBMC's Department of Ophthalmology. The new space will feature expanded treatment rooms, advanced surgical equipment, and improved accessibility for children, seniors, and patients with low vision.

"GBMC shaped who I am as a physician. It's where I trained, where I learned to care for patients as individuals, and where I still see the difference compassionate medicine can make."
