Our Story

Meridian therapy is a school of Japanese acupuncture distinguished by its emphasis on Body/Mind integration as well as gentleness of application. Much like Mindfulness Meditation practices, Meridian Therapy style acupuncture is well suited to rapidly and safely address the vast array of modern day stress disorders affecting feeling and thinking, cognition and behavior, as well as felt physical dysfunction often experienced as pain.

Ted practices a powerful touch-based form of diagnosis & treatment he refers to as Acupuncture Functional Medicine, which utilizes a combination of classical acupuncture theory, modern empirical diagnostics & osteopathic physical medicine, hands-on bodywork, and lifestyle coaching.

About Acupuncture Functional Medicine

Acupuncture Functional Medicine (AFM) is a modern approach to acupuncture that combines classics-based Japanese meridian therapy acupuncture with Western osteopathic physical medicine techniques, most notably trigger point dry needling.
