South Carolina Medical Association Alliance We invite any spouse of a South Carolina physician, resident or medical student to get involved with the SCMA Alliance.

The SCMA Alliance is the partner organization of physician spouses for the SCMA and provides support to both the family of medicine and citizens of South Carolina. The South Carolina Medical Association Alliance was formed to educate, advocate and provide support for physician families and to partner with the SCMA to improve the health and quality of life for citizens of South Carolina. The Alliance works to promote health education, encourage participation in health related projects, promote legislative awareness, provide resources to county alliances and communicate the mission and goals of both the SCMA and SCMA Alliance to its members. If Congress doesn’t act to , Medicare physicians and their practices will continue to struggle. We need Congress to pass H.R. 879 to cancel the 2.83% pay cut that went into effect on January 1, provide a needed payment update, stabilize practices and protect patient access to care.
