South Carolina Medical Association Alliance We invite any spouse of a South Carolina physician, resident or medical student to get involved with the SCMA Alliance.

The SCMA Alliance is the partner organization of physician spouses for the SCMA and provides support to both the family of medicine and citizens of South Carolina. The South Carolina Medical Association Alliance was formed to educate, advocate and provide support for physician families and to partner with the SCMA to improve the health and quality of life for citizens of South Carolina. The Alliance works to promote health education, encourage participation in health related projects, promote legislative awareness, provide resources to county alliances and communicate the mission and goals of both the SCMA and SCMA Alliance to its members. 2026....Let's get Committed to Be Fit!
Join the SC County Fitness Challenge! Contact your County President for how to log in your activities of the day. This Challenge starts now and ends March 31, 2026! Have fun and may the best County win!
South Carolina County Fitness Challenge
RULES

Any member of Greenville, Spartanburg or Florence County is eligible to participate.
Any kind of movement qualifies and some examples are: walking, running, swimming, hiking, tennis, golf, cycling, going to the grocery store, canoeing, taking care of children and grandchildren, taking down Christmas decorations, etc. Anything that requires you to get out of your chair or off of your couch and makes you move for a few minutes.
Try to repeat as many days as you can
Record your exercise on your Google Drive document that you may have added your county name
Encourage your Alliance buddies to participate too. By March 31, 2026 the contest will end.
All entries entered will be sent to me via the Google Drive Document
The County with the most entries will win a Gift Certificate from Fresh Market to use for refreshments at their next Alliance Meeting
