Multiple cardiologists, providers, and staff from Missouri Heart Center have chosen to continue delivering high-quality cardiac care as part of Boone Health Medical Group’s new Cardiology Clinic. Patients can expect continuity of care, with historical medical records remaining accessible through Boone Health. A new phone line for appointments and inquiries will be available beginning May 1, 2026.

The Community Wellness team was proud to participate in Boone Health’s first-ever Spring Screening Saturday event at the Nifong location, collaborating with other dedicated, passionate, and supportive Boone Health staff. Along with free A1c testing, blood pressure checks, and skin cancer screenings, community members also benefited from a wide range of additional services, including CT lung cancer screenings, bilateral breast MRIs, lab draws, CT cardiac calcium screenings, screening mammograms, pelvic floor therapy, balance assessments, and chronic pain support.

Join us for Spring Screening Saturday—a convenient way to check off important health screenings all in one place. Available services include MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, lab work, and cardiac screenings, plus free screenings for skin cancer, heart health, A1C, blood pressure, and therapy needs.

Some services require a provider’s order ahead of time, while others are offered on a walk-in basis.

Our Story

Boone Hospital Center is a 392-bed full service hospital located in Columbia, Mo. It is a regional referral center located in the center of the state. The hospital provides progressive healthcare programs, services, and technology to people in 25 mid-Missouri counties.

Although the hospital is full service, areas in which Boone Hospital Center excels are cardiology, neurology, oncology, surgical, obstetrical services, and numerous other specialties. The hospital maintains a 24-hour emergency center with hospital-based ambulance service and a helipad for incoming emergency air transportation. The hospital employs over 2000 on its staff and 350 physicians on the medical staff.
