Co‑Parenting in Everyday Moments
Co‑parenting works best in the everyday moments — a shared update, a predictable routine, a quick message about a school event. These small acts help kids feel secure and supported. What’s one co‑parenting habit that works well for your family?

Helping Kids Name Their Feelings
Kids don’t need perfect words — they just need practice. Naming emotions helps children feel understood and reduces stress. Try asking, “Are you feeling frustrated, worried, or something else?” Small conversations build big skills.

We’re grateful for the families and leaders who have trusted NFRC’s work for decades. This reflection from a longtime board member speaks to the impact of our mission:

“For over thirty years, I’ve marveled at NFRC’s work. Their guidance helps children, teens, and parents build resilience together, and their programs give young people a safe place to talk about their feelings and experiences.”

Thank you to everyone who supports our work to strengthen families through life’s transitions.

Social Workers: Uplift. Defend. Transform.

This Social Work Month, we honor the professionals who show up every day to strengthen families, empower children, and build more resilient communities.

At NFRC, our roots are deeply connected to this mission. For decades, we’ve been pioneers in providing what families asked for and truly needed:

Parent education for divorcing and separating parents
Educational programs and clinical services for children ages 4+
Supportive, trauma‑informed services for adults navigating transitions

When we see a need, we act.
And we’re proud to stand alongside social workers who uplift voices, defend dignity, and transform lives—one family at a time.

As we wrap up our February focus on love in action, we’re grateful for the ways this community has leaned into empathy, connection, and care over the past few weeks.

Every listening ear, thoughtful gesture, and moment of understanding helps create a more supportive world for our children and teens.

Thank you for being part of the NFRC community — and for helping us carry these practices forward long after February ends.

Real Stories. Real Support

Kids and teens in NFRC programs tell us they feel more confident, more connected, and more supported — and parents see the difference.

“My son feels more confident about navigating the situation.”
“My daughters see that others are going through similar experiences.”
“The materials and guidance are amazingly supportive.”

NFRC's virtual programs give children and teens a safe place to understand big feelings, build coping skills, and know they’re not alone.
