2026 is almost here. 💙

Not with pressure to reinvent yourself or achieve impossible goals—just with hope for what's possible when we support each other.

As we look ahead, we're committed to:
- Expanding programs to meet the evolving needs of Maryland families and beyond
- Maintaining accessible therapy and support options
- Continuing our advocacy for child-focused family practices
- Building partnerships that bring mental health support into everyday spaces

We'll share our full 2026 program calendar in January. For now, we just want to say: we're here. We're ready. And we're grateful you're part of this community.

Whatever 2026 holds for you—transitions, healing, growth, or simply getting through—you don't have to do it alone.

Here's to a year of continued resilience, together.

As 2025 comes to a close, here's what we're carrying forward: 💙

Not resolutions. Not pressure to be "new and improved." Just reflections on what we learned and what we're holding onto.

This year taught us:
- Resilience is built through community, not isolation
- Asking for help is wisdom, not weakness
- Children need their own space to process family changes
- Complex emotions can coexist—you don't have to choose
- Small acts of support create big ripples of impact

What's something you learned about yourself this year? What are you carrying into 2026? Share below if you'd like. 👇

As this year ends, we're grateful for every person who showed up—for themselves, for their families, and for this community.

As we approach the end of the year, we're reflecting on gratitude. 💙

Thank you to this incredible community:

✓ Every family who trusted us with your stories and your growth
✓ Every parent who registered their child for our programs
✓ Every person who donated, shared our posts, or purchased a Community Bag
✓ Every professional who refers families to us
✓ Everyone who believes accessible mental health care matters

Resilience isn't built alone. It's built through community—through people who show up, support each other, and believe that every family deserves resources during hard times.

Thank you for being part of building resilience together this year.

Wishing you all peace, comfort, and moments of connection this season. 💚

A reminder as we move through the holidays: 💙

It's okay to feel multiple things at once.

You can be grateful for what you have AND sad about what's changed.

You can enjoy parts of the holidays AND find other parts difficult.

You can celebrate with your children AND grieve the family traditions that no longer exist.

Complex emotions aren't a sign that something's wrong—they're a sign that you're human navigating real changes.

The cultural pressure to be joyful and grateful during the holidays can feel at odds with the very real challenges you're facing. If that resonates with you, please know: you don't have to pretend everything is perfect.

Your children benefit more from authenticity than from forced cheerfulness.

If you're struggling this holiday season, support is available. You don't have to wait until you're in crisis to reach out. Our therapists are here. Visit nfrchelp.org.

The holidays during family transition can feel overwhelming. Here are some practical tips to help: 💙

Communicate early: Talk with your co-parent about holiday schedules, gift coordination, and expectations now to reduce last-minute stress.

Create new traditions: Rather than trying to recreate what used to be, develop traditions that fit your current family structure. New doesn't mean less meaningful.

Be honest with your children: Acknowledge that holidays might feel different this year, while also helping them find things to look forward to.

Set realistic expectations: You don't have to make everything perfect. It's okay if this year looks different than past years.

Prioritize self-care: The holidays can be emotionally draining. Taking care of yourself helps you show up better for your children.

You don't have to navigate this alone. Our therapists are here to support you through the holiday season and beyond. Visit nfrchelp.org to learn more.

Thank you for showing up on Giving Tuesday! 💙

Your generosity on December 2nd made a real difference for Maryland families. Whether you donated, shared our posts, or spread the word—you helped build resilience in our community.

Here's the thing: while Giving Tuesday was a powerful moment, families need support every single day. If you weren't able to give on December 2nd, there's still time to make an impact before the year ends.

Year-end donations help us:
- Provide sliding scale therapy for families with financial constraints
- Continue programs like KidsConnex, TeensConnex, and Reaching for Resilience
- Start 2026 ready to serve more Maryland families and beyond
- Maintain our commitment to accessible mental health care

Every contribution—whether $25, $50, $100, or more—matters.

Make your year-end gift at nfrchelp.org (link in bio).

Thank you for being part of this community.

The holidays can bring up a lot—joy, stress, grief, overwhelm, hope. Whatever you're feeling, it's valid.

December intentions: 💙

✓ I will give myself permission to feel however I feel this holiday season
✓ I will communicate my needs clearly with family and friends
✓ I will create or adapt traditions that work for me right now
✓ I will ask for help when I need it
✓ I will prioritize what actually matters over what's "expected"

What's one intention you're setting for December? Share below! 👇

Today is Giving Tuesday—a global day of generosity. 💙

This year, we're asking you to consider NFRC as part of your year-end giving.

When you support NFRC, you're investing in:
- Accessible therapy for families in transition
- Educational programs that build resilience in children and teens
- Co-parenting support for families navigating separation
- Mental health resources for those who need them most

Every donation—whether $25, $50, $100, or more—helps a Maryland family access the support they desperately need.

Stories like Brent's (check your email if you've been following along!) remind us why this work matters. Families and individuals don't have to navigate hard times alone.

Make your Giving Tuesday gift today. Link in bio or visit nfrchelp.org.

As November comes to a close, we're reflecting on gratitude. 💙

Thank you to everyone who showed up for Maryland families this month:

✓ Those who purchased Community Bags at Giant Food
✓ Parents who registered their children for our programs
✓ Teens who showed up for Reaching for Resilience
✓ Families who started therapy or continued their healing journey
✓ Everyone who shared our posts and spread the word

Resilience isn't built alone—it's built through community. Through people who show up, who support each other, and who believe that every family deserves access to mental health resources.

As we head into December and Giving Tuesday (Dec 3!), we're reminded that this community makes everything we do possible.

Thank you for being part of building resilience together.

This week, as many of us gather with friends and family and reflect on the year, this reminder feels important. 💙

Resilience isn't about returning to how things were before the challenge, loss, or change. It's about adapting, growing, and becoming the version of yourself that can navigate your current reality.

Whether you're facing family transitions, mental health challenges, or just the everyday stress of life—resilience is what helps you move forward, even when the path looks different than you expected.

You're not the same person you were before. And that's not failure—that's growth.

Our therapists support you in building resilience for wherever you are right now. Visit nfrchelp.org to learn more.
