Half-kneeling D2 flexion is great for golfers and other rotational athletes ⛳️

This exercise improves overhead reaching mechanics, while building shoulder mobility, neuromuscular control, and rotator cuff strength.

Great for improving shoulder function and supporting powerful rotational movements!

Lateral Step Downs to Tempo 🔥

Slowing the movement down changes everything. By controlling the lowering phase, you increase time under tension for the quads and glutes while also challenging hip and knee stability.

Why we use it in rehab & training:
• Builds quad strength without heavy load
• Improves single-leg control
• Targets glutes for better knee alignment
• Great for return-to-run and knee rehab progressions

Don't rush the rep - own it! 💪

We're so excited to welcome our new Physical Therapist, Matthew Lamb, to our Camden and Columbia clinics! 🎉

Matthew recently earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Anderson University and is kicking off his career with us. He’s especially passionate about working with golfers and is TPI Level 1 certified, helping golfers move, feel and play their best.

When he's not in the clinic, you can find him weight training, on the golf course and cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks.

We are so happy to have you on the team, Matthew! Be sure to say hello when you see him! 👋

Dealing with herniated disc pain? You’re not alone. There are ways to manage it without living on pain meds! 🙌
Here are some tips that really help:

💊 Ease inflammation: over-the-counter anti-inflammatories (if safe for you)
💪 Strengthen your core & back: pelvic tilts, gentle stretches
🚶 Move smart: use your knees when lifting & avoid painful movements
🌬 Breathe deeply: belly breathing helps reduce tension
🏃 Stay active: even a short daily walk takes pressure off your spine
🔥 Heat or ice: 15 min of warmth can soothe sore muscles
🧑‍⚕️ Work with a PT: personalized exercises & posture tips make a big difference
Small changes can make a huge difference in your day-to-day life. Listen to your body, move carefully, and don’t ignore flare-ups! ✅

As we age, staying active isn’t just about feeling good, it’s about maintaining independence, strength, and confidence. Physical therapy can help seniors:
✔️ Improve strength, mobility, and endurance for daily activities
✔️ Reduce pain without medication through manual therapy and targeted exercises
✔️ Prevent falls with balance and gait training
✔️ Recover safely after surgeries or injuries

Whether it’s regaining confidence after a fall, managing arthritis, or improving everyday movement, PT empowers older adults to keep living life on their terms.

Don’t wait! Meet with your doctor & schedule your evaluation today and take the first step toward stronger, safer movement.

Strong knees aren’t just about the knee.
They rely on strength, control, and stability from your hips, core, and legs working together.

Our Mission & Values

Wellness through motion: Our mission is to inspire and promote wellness through comprehensive rehabilitative and preventative physical therapy and occupational therapy services. We believe that many neuromusculoskeletal problems can be solved with movement, and we are here to help you improve your movement experience, thereby improving your human experience. That is why our motto is "Move Better. Live Better. Play Better."

Community and Access: We seek to provide rural, suburban, and urban communities access to the highest quality of healthcare services, emphasizing patient experience, research, education and clinical outcomes. We believe that using an evidence-based approach to guide our treatment decisions allows us to provide you with the most optimal rehab experience and outcomes. We also want you to feel like you're a part of our family and not "just another patient" in a medical "factory". We know that the rehab journey is important, but the destination is probably most important to you, so we are commited to giving you our undivided attention, not only when you enter in our doors on your first visit, but at every visit after that, until you meet your goals.

Patient-specific individualized care: We strive to provide work-specific, task-specific, and sport-specific treatment options and an evidence-based approach to your work-related, life-related and sports and performing arts-related injuries. We pride ourselves on being a resource for our recreational, community, pre-professional and professional athletes and performing artists, and we truly believe in the addage, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
