A new year means new opportunities, and we’re excited to begin recruiting for our Spring Project TEAM sessions, starting the week of February 2nd.

A new year is a time to reset, focus on your health, and set goals around physical activity and overall well-being. Project TEAM is here to help you along your wellness journey through movement, setting personal goals, and engaging in conversations about health.

TEAM PA stands in solidarity with all those battling breast cancer, celebrates survivors, and remembers those we’ve lost.

This month, as we come together to raise awareness and support those impacted by breast cancer, we also want to emphasize the importance of regular physical activity and its role in reducing the risk of developing breast cancer. Exercise helps regulate hormones, boost immune function, and reduce inflammation, all factors vital to cancer prevention.

In addition to staying active, it’s important to get screened regularly. Women ages 40 and older are generally advised to receive a mammogram every 1–2 years, but screening should start earlier for those with higher risk. Early detection saves lives.

Let’s move for our health and for the women whose strength inspires us every day!
