🥰Modern psychology and culture pushes the concepts of self-love and self-worth through the practice of positive self-affirmations such as “I am enough”, “I am brave”, “I am strong” and “I am able” to build our self-esteem and self-confidence, but what happens when we’re undoubtedly faced with challenges bigger than our own abilities?
💔When our confidence is rooted in our own power, strength and abilities, personal and professional failures can lead to great discouragement and subsequent despair.

👉With Labor Day having recently come and gone, I wonder how many people who took time off for the holiday could say almost a week later that they feel refreshed, restored and rejuvenated in their body, mind and soul?
🔄We are so used to living on autopilot, multi-tasking day-end and day-out that truth be told, most of us don't even realize how tired we truly are or know how to relax and simply just be in the present moment.
🚨Chronic busyness and constant availability and connectivity has become the norm; however, we weren't created for this pace, and the consequences are devastating!
🙌🏻 The good news is that the Lord offers us rest through Him if only we seek and accept His help.
