Why folks have a no show fee-

After 25 years I have to create a post for me and all the other therapists out there- there’s a reason we charge for your not coming to your session for what ever reason-
1-you need to keep your word
2-I got up this morning and prepared to see you
3-many times we have a wait list and someone else could have used that appointment
4- we have bills to pay
5- it is disrespectful to you and me - you don’t care enough for yourself to keep your word to yourself - why you are usually in therapy
6- you signed a legal piece of paper saying you would and if you want to keep your therapy real - you need to be honest
7 - 4 no shows today and every one of these folks expects me not to charge them - there was a lot of things I could have gotten done today had I known I would have had those 4 hours - time is precious to us too- thank you for understanding
