🌿 Endometriosis: It’s Not Just a Hormone Problem
Most people think endometriosis is simply a “hormone imbalance.” But here’s the truth 👇
Endometriosis is often a detoxification issue — your body’s inability to properly clear out excess estrogen and inflammation.
When your liver and gut are congested or overloaded, they can’t efficiently detox hormones. This leads to:
⚡ Estrogen dominance
🔥 Chronic inflammation
💤 Fatigue, bloating, and pain that just won’t go away
Your body isn’t broken — it’s backed up. Once you support proper detox pathways (liver, lymph, and gut), your body can finally start to heal from the inside out.
💚 True healing means finding and fixing the why, not masking the symptoms.
If you’re ready to get answers, book a complimentary call with Dr. Maxwell or schedule your next appointment today — we’d love to help you uncover what’s really driving your symptoms.

🫀 Early Signs of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) & The Gut Connection 🦠
AFib is an irregular, often rapid heartbeat that can feel like:
✨ Heart palpitations or fluttering
😮💨 Shortness of breath
⚡ Fatigue or lightheadedness
💤 Trouble sleeping or unexplained anxiety
But here’s what many don’t realize 👇
Your gut health can play a major role in how your heart functions.
When the gut is inflamed or imbalanced (think leaky gut, dysbiosis, or chronic stress on the gut lining), it triggers systemic inflammation — including in the heart. This inflammation can disrupt your body’s electrical signaling, making you more vulnerable to rhythm issues like AFib.
💚 A healthy gut = balanced inflammation = more stable heart rhythm.
🔹 Heal your gut → calm your nervous system → protect your heart.
🔹 Address the root cause, not just the symptom.

Your immune system can actually rewire your heart. 💭
When your immune response stays overactive — from stress, toxins, or even hidden food sensitivities — it sends inflammatory signals that can change how your heart cells communicate.
That’s right: your immune health can literally alter your heart rhythm. ❤️🔥
The good news? When you calm inflammation, support your gut, and balance your nervous system, your body can reset that rhythm naturally. 🌿
Have you ever noticed your heart racing during times of stress or after being sick?
Comment “YES” below or DM us “HEART” — let’s talk about how immune balance supports heart health!

AFib doesn’t start in your heart — it starts in your gut. 🧠➡️💓
When your gut microbiome is out of balance, inflammation and nerve stress can trigger irregular heart rhythms. Healing your gut = calming your heart. 🌿

What if your “healthy” foods are silently stressing your heart? 🥑💔
IgG food sensitivities can trigger chronic inflammation — which doesn’t just affect digestion, but also your heart rhythm, mood, and energy. It’s all connected through your gut–brain–heart axis. 🌿
This is why we test, not guess.
Drop a ❤️ if you’ve ever wondered how your food affects your heart — or DM us “IgG” to learn how we can help you find your triggers naturally.

Your blood can tell you so much more than your symptoms. 💉
High homocysteine levels are one of the most overlooked markers when it comes to heart health, brain function, and inflammation — and yes, they’re connected to gut health too.
Keeping this number balanced helps protect your heart rhythm, your mood, and even your longevity. ❤️
When was the last time you checked your homocysteine levels?
Comment “TEST” below or DM us to learn how we help our patients naturally lower theirs through lifestyle, nutrition, and chiropractic care. 🌿

Your gut health plays a bigger role in your heart rhythm than most people realize.
Recent studies show that inflammation and microbiome imbalances can contribute to atrial fibrillation (AFib) — but by supporting your gut and nervous system, you can help your body find balance naturally. 🌿
At The Wellness Wag Columbia, we take a full-body approach to health — because every system is connected. 💫

Our society is experiencing a sharp increase in the number of people who suffer from complex, chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, mental illness, and autoimmune disorders like rheumatoid arthritis, hormone problems, autism, etc.
The system of medicine practiced by most physicians is oriented toward acute care, the diagnosis and treatment of trauma or illness that is of short duration and in need of urgent care, such as a broken bone or appendicitis. Physicians apply specific prescribed treatments such as drugs or surgery that aim to treat the immediate problem or symptom.
Unfortunately, the acute-care approach lacks the proper methodology and tools for preventing and treating complex chronic disease. In most cases it does not take into account the unique genetic makeup of each individual or factors such as environmental exposures to toxins, and the aspects of today's lifestyle that have a direct influence on the rise in chronic disease in modern Western society.
The Wellness Way approach addresses the underlying causes of disease, using a systems-oriented approach and engaging both patient and practitioner in a therapeutic partnership. It is an expansion in the practice of medicine that better addresses the healthcare needs of the 21st century.
By shifting the traditional disease-centered focus of medical practice to a more individual-centered approach, our approach addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms. Our practitioners spend time with their patients, listening to their histories and looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease. In this way, we are supporting the unique expression of health and vitality for each individual.
