From the very start we set out to do “radiology right.” Compassionate care is the driving principle in a very technology driven imaging center. When opening our very first imaging center, we focused on acquiring the most advanced, state-of-the-art technology. We built everything from the ground up so that there would be no compromises in quality. We invested in the newest 3 Tesla, wide-bore MRI scanners, which have the latest technology capable of producing the highest-resolution images that a radiologist needs to make the most accurate diagnoses. We chose the best Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) to ensure seamless communication between Charter Radiology and our referring physicians, providing specialists with immediate images and accurate results for their patients. We understand that better imaging leads to an accurate diagnosis by the radiologist, which leads to better patient outcomes. We also understand that “radiology done right” is more than just having the most sophisticated equipment, which is why all Charter team members are committed to making every patient encounter personal. Building rapport with our referring physicians and the patients that turn to us for care is a top priority. Our patients become part of our family, and are treated as we would want our own family members to be cared for. You’ll often find Dr. Daisy comforting a claustrophobic patient by holding their hand for the MRI procedure or making sure they have their favorite music playing in the headset before the MRI procedure begins. It’s a fact that my insurance was a holdup but Charter persevered to get me pre-authorized.
