I recently found a truly wonderfully tasteful high polyphenol organic olive oil. Thank you to the owner of Adamandas Extra Virgin Olive Oil letting me taste the olive oil produced at his family’s farm in Greece and showing me the third party testing in the polyphenols present in their olive oil. It starts out fruity and ends with a strong pepper taste, but doesn’t make you choke. I look for olive oils that have that nice peppery flavor naturally inherent as that means it’s not adulterated with other oils and has same anti-inflammatory properties as ibuprofen. Today for dinner I put a couple tablespoons of Adamandas organic olive oil over plain chicken breast with some herbs on top. Wow, so flavorful!
