I saw this on a Reel and just wanted to share. I know how challenging hair cuts can be and we also know that proprioception or deep pressure input is calming. Today is World Autism Day.
I just ask that when you ate in a store or public place and you notice someone... " a little bit different " or possibly having a "meltdown" or simply waving their hands and humming/talking to themselves that you think of acceptance. This person may not have autism or they might ,but The fact is your attention was drawn to them and you felt the disconnect between you and them. Recognize that feeling, try not to pass judgment and know that we are all a little different. Isn't there a saying out there that speaks to that is what makes us all unique, "our differences".
