On Wednesday Feb 4th, SCPA Advocacy Committee members gathered with the SC psychological association, and for a special mental health focused Legislator Breakfast at the State House in Columbia SC. Dr. Erin Seery, Dr. Ciara Styles & resident Dr. Joseph Humphries convened with approximately 35+ state legislators including 1:1’s with their personal state reps Leon Stavrinakis, Heather Bauer and Beth Bernstein. SCPA champions the needs of South Carolina residents including the importance of Team-Based (physician-led) Health Care.

Due to Weather/Travel Issues Judge Hendricks will not be present for our Meet a Local Official Panel. We are in luck though, because State Reps Mark Smith and Sylleste Davis will be joining us. Their meet and greet will be this Friday 1/24 @ 11:30am during our annual meeting!
